Not a movement, but a moving.
When I was a kid, someone bought me a "Christian" t-shirt. You know the one, "Go Against The Flow" in big letters with one small fish swimming against a whole ocean of others. Apparantly, as Christians, we are supposed to "go against" the flow of the world. So what happens when you go against the flow of the church? What happens when you want a vibrant relationship with Jesus but don't fit in with the church today? If I go against the flow in the church, does that mean I'm going WITH the flow of the world? The buzzword among Christian youth is relevance. But what is relevance anyways. It sounds like just another xtian word to me. I can even hear the sermon, Repentance, Relationship, Righteousness, and finally I close with Relevance. And though we need to be relevant, we need even more to be real. This is me being real. This is me as I struggle in anoallasso. This is me in the upward change.
